Building on the learnings from Lens Protocol and friend.tech, as well as our own evolution from Soulink to Pal and now Gaia Personas, we have continued to pursue a SocialFi model that places people and relationships at its core.
friend.tech demonstrated the explosive potential of SocialFi by merging social networks with financial incentives. However, it also revealed challenges such as high volatility and short-term speculation, which affected long-term sustainability. To address these issues, Gaia Personas adopts a stabilized bonding curve model designed to prevent extreme pump-and-dump dynamics and foster a more sustainable environment.
In addition, Persona owners who hold Gods will receive all protocol fee revenue generated by the platform. When the Gaia token launches, token holdings will also count as Holding Points—granting full protocol-fee distribution to holders of 10,000 tokens or more, and proportional fee distribution for those holding less than 10,000 tokens. This model enhances holder benefits while contributing to the value growth of existing assets.
